How it works

Our advanced Fractional CO2 laser can be adjusted to to treat superficial or deeper skin layers, depending on the issue being addressed. Our Fractional CO2 laser uses focused beams of CO2 laser energy to create tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the skin, promoting collagen production and skin regeneration. The high absorption of CO2 laser light by water causes the water in the skin cells to vaporise. As vaporisation occurs, this removes the outer damaged skin cells in a precise and controlled manner, and as the area heals, it creates new, firmer and smoother skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT
At the beginning of your appointment, you will be provided with numbing cream to minimise any unnecessary pain on the areas being treated if undergoing level 2 and 3 treatments. Level 1 is a much lighter intensity so numbing isn't required. Our CO2 laser also has a cooling system built into the device to minimise any discomfort to help make your experience as pleasurable as possible as well.
The duration of the procedure itself depends on the size of the area being treated, however you can expect it to be anywhere between 20-60 minutes.
